Refunds

Training courses on CD ROM

Not all our courses of instruction are available on CD ROM. Currently available courses on CD ROM may be withdrawn at any time and made available on other media or substituted with online courses.

All our CD ROM software and courses are tested to ensure that your copy is functioning properly before it is mailed to you. For this reason, there are few reported problems with our CDs.

However, if the CD ROM appears to be faulty when you receive it, contact us immediately by email with a description of the problem, and we will try to resolve the issue.

If we decide that a solution is not possible, we will ask you to return the faulty CD ROM to us in good order and on receipt we will immediately issue a replacement. The purchaser is responsible for all freight and packaging costs involved in returning the software.

No refund can be given on the purchase of CD ROM courses, as their informative and total value has been transferred to you, the purchaser, and cannot be reversed.

To avoid disappointment, before you purchase carefully study all the information on our site that describes the Old Way/New Way^® learning method, its applications, and the course(s) you intend to purchase.

Support

Purchasers of online courses that provide email support are entitled to full support for course completion for a period of three months from the date their course commences. Course commencement occurs on the date when the purchaser is sent an email message stating that their course has commenced.

Three months is normally sufficient for course completion, based on past experience over a number of years. Purchasers of online courses are not automatically entitled to support for course completion beyond the three month period.

Support for course completion beyond this three month period may be granted if satisfactory reasons are supplied by the purchaser to justify an extension of time. However, an extension of time beyond the three months should not be considered the normal expectation. The decision as to whether support for course completion will be provided beyond the three months period, or not, remains solely with Personal Best Academy™, whose decision is final.

In other words, when you enrol in an online course that has in built support, you do so under the condition that the course has to be completed within three months. After that period of time you may find that you are on your own.

Online courses without email support will not expire after three months.

Privacy

A privacy policy concerns personal information, e.g., anything that could identify you. We follow strict rules as to what we do and do not do with the information you give us when you buy our products and services, or ask us for information about our products and services.

Things we don't do:

• we don't give out or sell your personal information to anyone else.

Things we do:

• we only ask for and keep information about you that is required so you can buy our products and can then receive the goods by mail or over the Internet
• we store this information securely and we don't leave it lying around
• after a time, when no longer needed, this personal information is destroyed, without trace
• from time to time we will email you information about our new products, upgrades, and special offers. When we email you it is always addressed to you personally and it is an individual email, not part of a long list that shows every other person's email address along with yours
• we use an email contact form instead of placing our email address on our web site, because this reduces the amount of junk email we get and in turn reduces the likelihood of your own exposure to junk email
